| Comptroller: Thruway Authority doesn't need to raise tolls
Those potential toll increases are on top of a 10 percent increase for cash customers that started Jan. 6. That was approved in 2005. A final vote on the toll increases is expected in mid-April. The increases would help fund $2.7 billion in improvements to Thruway roadways and bridges before 2011. The higher tolls would raise about $375 million in the next four years. Some details from the audit, according to the comptroller's office: -- A full review of Thruway Authority operations are necessary to find additional savings. -- The authority should defer $159 million all "non-essential projects," which include updates to the Thruway's toll booth system, physically separating E-ZPass and cash-paying customers and a completion of the connection between Interstate 84 and Interstate 87..

Hip-Hop Rumors: Black Jesus! Shawnna Sues? Papoose Spea...
This ain't me, but Page Six is reporting that Scott Storch is going through it on the money tip. The rumor tip suggests that the high-end producer has hit tough times. According to a source, one of his credit cards was declined at a Miami club. Some say that he was worth $70 million at one point and now that figure is about $17 million. What's the issue then? I think he may have been late on a payment or something and it was declined like that. There is no way he's having issues ONLY based on a credit card being declined. There are so many reasons for that. SOULJA BOY'S MOTHER? So, I told you that I heard a preposterous rumor that Soulja Boy was killed or died in some tragedy. How morbid.
