| Lowe blasts those who helped force him out
RL + MW & co may have the money to buy some cheap shares but they are still poor money wise and have no money splash into this club. Money and greed always create problems and the saints have been in that for years. Hereing about all the clubs going into admim in the league it does appear only a matter of time now, unless we win against Hull on sat and then put in a record 5 back to back wins and start filling sms again and get back the saints feeling good again as without it, it will not just be a cold winter but a cold decade. Come on saints you can beat this s88t........ .
Ad campaign promotes money management
Benjamin Bankes might not be Super Bowl material this season, but I'd love to see him in prime time next year. You've probably never heard of Benjamin, but he has many fine attributes. He's a snappy dresser, a quick thinker and thrifty, and he seems to make all the right moves. He's also a pig. The Ad Council and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants created Benjamin as the centerpiece of a national television and radio public service advertising campaign that promotes sound money management habits. Benjamin is supposed to provoke memories of our piggy banks. Indeed, he encourages you to empty your pockets of spare change and dollar bills and "feed the pig." Benjamin has potential. While these ad spots may not win any major awards or generate much of a cool factor with kids, they do succeed in delivering a clear message: Young adults need to take control of their finances and build long-term financial security.
Letters, 1/17: Name-calling unpersuasive
Successive letters to the editor have held in common their assertion that motorcyclists are stupid if they do not support the mandatory helmet law. Name-calling is not a particularly persuasive tactic, nor is it indicative of someone confident in the factual basis for their argument. While I may in fact be stupid for riding a motorcycle, suspicion prevents me from believing that this small percentage of drivers is responsible for such a significant portion of our medical care burden. Reason also prevents me from supporting such government nannyism as the law represents, however popular our discrimination against this minority. Bradford Ellison, Lincoln .
